Audiovisual Crestron / AMX Programmer - Itasca - IL
JOB OPPORTUNITY:
We are currently seeking a Computer Programmer in our corporate office. Qualified candidates must possess skills to write programming code for Audio Visual integrated control systems such as AMX and Crestron. The candidate must be able to create and compile files, author user manuals, and work as a team member to assist our Sales and Systems departments with programming-related tasks.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in a programming- related field, or substantial programming experience.
- At least 2 years of experience in Control System program creation, preferably in the home or commercial Audio Visual markets.
- Write and/or modify Crestron and AMX program code on installed AV systems.
- Familiarity with Audio DSP Device Programming.
- Practical knowledge of AutoCAD and of Java are pluses.
- Create user manuals of control systems for clients.
- Provide technical support for all internal and external Clients with control system-related issues.
- Research and stay informed on new products and trends in the A/V industry.
- Attend training sessions to obtain certifications based on company needs.
- Be willing to travel and work independently on projects.
- Handle multiple and overlapping programming tasks in this fast-paced industry.

Service Technician - Itasca - IL
JOB OPPORTUNITY:
We are currently seeking a Field/Bench Service Technician and programmer in our corporate office. Qualified candidate is responsible for the installation, testing, and servicing of audiovisual systems; the proper processing of all records and documentation; and the proper inventory of systems and materials.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
The motivated candidate must have a High School degree or equivalent and three to five years experience in the installation and service of audiovisual equipment or electronics. AMX and/or Crestron programming/troubleshooting experience is required. A working knowledge of popular DSPs, including ClearOne and BiAmp would be highly beneficial. Knowledge in servicing LCD and DLP projectors also required. In addition, applicant must have a full knowledge of common audiovisual components and systems service along with proper record keeping. Must also have working knowledge of MS Office, Internet and web based support sites. Field and Bench Service Technician is required to have a valid Driver's License and vehicle.
Main tasks and duties include but are not limited to the following: troubleshoot and repair audiovisual equipment including audio/video, control systems and general electronics. Ability to upload, test, troubleshoot and modify AMX and Crestron source code. Perform preventive maintenance on previous mentioned equipment types. Trace wire runs and determine functionality of cables and connectors. Must possess mechanical repair skills as well as electronics. Provide technical assistance by phone to our clients as well as conducting field service calls at the job site. This position requires the willingness to attend training sessions to remain current with product lines that we sell and service. Candidate must be able to handle multiple and overlapping tasks in this fast-paced industry.
